Talent Performing Arts Training

Talent, Vocaltutor's new performing arts academy, a weeklong, fun-filled performance course. A whole week of singing, dancing and acting training with industry professionals, culminating in a spectacular show on Saturday afternoon.

This example theme is Teen Musicals: High School Musical, Grease & Hairspray. Other themes are available including ‘21 Century Pop – Britney Spears, Take That, Girls Aloud, Usher and more’ and ‘Rock Musicals – Camp Rock & We Will Rock You.

The training is aimed at 8 -18 year olds. The times for training are Monday - Friday 10.00am - 4:30pm and Saturday 10am - 6pm, which includes a dress rehearsal and the performance at 2pm.

Once registered for Talent, each participant will receive a performer's pack, consisting of a full set of song lyrics, audition information, a schedule plus a CD of the backing track so lyrics can be learnt before the week commences.

Auditions for the main characters in the musicals will take place at the beginning of the week. Any remaining parts will be allocated in rehearsals.

Clothing for training: Dance trainers or jazz shoes, black leggings or jogging pants and a talent t-shirt.
